The Hangi Pit started with one simple kaupapa — bring the authentic taste of traditional Maori hangi to Australia. For over 7 years, we've been serving up the Gold Coast's only real hangi with the same love, care, and massive portions that make it special back home.

Our hangi meals are prepared using traditional methods passed down through generations — slow-cooked meats with kumara, potato, pumpkin, and all the trimmings. Just like how Nan used to make it. Combined with our popular fish & chips, burgers, and seafood, there's something for the whole whanau.

We're buzzing to announce we're now at Coomera Square Shopping Centre with a bigger kitchen and better access for our loyal customers. Same amazing kai, brand new whare!
